Parylene C powder (poly(chloro-p-xylylene), Parylene C) is a white crystalline powder, the monomer raw material for producing Parylene C vacuum-deposited coatings, belonging to the Parylene family of high polymer materials. Under vacuum conditions, Parylene C powder can form a uniform, pinhole-free, transparent polymer protective film on various substrate surfaces via chemical vapor deposition (CVD), making it one of today's highly representative conformal coating materials in high-end electronics, medical devices, and cultural-relic conservation. It should be stored sealed, cool, dry, and protected from light, away from strong oxidizing agents.
Applications: Raw material of Parylene C conformal coating deposited by vacuum CVD; pinhole-free insulation and protection for PCBs, MEMS, sensors and aerospace electronics; FDA-biocompatible medical implants; artifact conservation.
